I believe that a child that is being abuse don't want to go to school because they might feel depressed. They won't do their work because they are going to be worried about having to go home after-school and imagining the hell they are living in. It can also affect the education because the parents will probably take the child(ren) out of school so that the parents can not be questioned by the authorities. And this is why the child abuse should stop in Arizona.

Debra Luptak’s Case

Debra Luptak wrote a book called "A Survivor's Closet" published on February 1, 2003. 

When she was born, her mother did not like her and named her "The Devil's Daughter" and the mother thought that Debra was going to ruin her marriage. When Debra was 3 weeks old, a mosquito bit her causing encephalitis and a coma. When she was six years old, the son of the foster parents that Debra was living with, had raped her. And she became rebellious because she was always moving from foster home to foster home. At the age of sixteen, she got pregnant and by the age of twenty-four she had four sons.

They can treat their kids the same way or maybe they don't want to have kids in their lives. Or they might treat their kids better than what they were treated as a child. It just depends on how the individual's mind is working with the psychological and emotional distress that they had to deal with when they were little.

When reading that Jhessye was looking like a zombie, the first thing that came to mind was that the mother was neglecting her. And when people say she looked like a zombie I thought that she was lifeless, skin and bones. I don't understand why the mother did not take care of Jhessye like she was supposed to and if she didn't want the little girl, the mother should have gave Jhessye to another family member. And also the mother should have realized that Jhessye is only 5 years old and she cannot defend for herself.     

Phoenix man accused in sexual abuse of foster kids

Phoenix police say that a foster father sexually abused seven of the 15 children in his care over six years and that his wife did nothing to stop it.

I cannot believe that a foster father can do what he did, and it is disgusting and sick; and I still cannot believe that the foster mother did not report it to the authorities and in my opinion, she should have divorced him after knowing what he did to those poor innocent children. Just imagine what those children are suffering, it is depressing to know that even the foster care system does not work carefully with cases like this. Children in foster care are sometimes taken away from the families they were original because of child abuse and having to be put back in this horrible or even worse situation is a terrible thing to live with for the rest of the children's lives. Maybe Arizona should make the foster parents take a psychological test to see if they are sane of their minds and they should always be constantly checking on the foster parents and the home they live in with all the foster children.

Having to read this story is heartbreaking and I believe that the parents are wrong for accusing their daughter for stealing. Isn't it why parents buy food to eat and make sure that the child gets the nutrients that he/ she need to grow into a healthy person? I believe so; I do not care if the child was stealing food or not, and if the parents did not like what she was doing, they should of talked to her instead of abusing her in that awful way. And the parents should have talked to the daughter that cheating in the school work is a bad and wrong thing to do. This story should open the eyes of many people because even young teens can be abused too. I believe that no child, no matter what age, should not be abused.
